The Design

This single cut is a new design, inspired by the Bolivian Rosewood bass. The flamed ribbon mahogany wood was so stunning that I had to use it for the front and back, plus create some custom knobs. The wood needed an oil finish, so I used a new method where the body has a high gloss and the neck is a matte finish. This brings out the true beauty of all of the woods, which is always my intent. The cocobolo fretboard was such a great piece that it had to be fretless.
